Any Spring Plans?

Anyone have anything fun planned for spring crafts, activities, lessons...?

We're going to plant a seed and try to grow our first flower indoors...we'll start that in April.

I just printed out an entire lesson, activity and worksheets on the solar system. My girls are so excited to start this!

I know that I want to do more but this is all I've got planned so far. I'm hoping to get into the library with the girls within the next couple weeks with the warmer weather.

I am supposed to be off while my kids are on spring break
I'll only have to work the weekends
I'm hoping in those two weeks to get some bow stuff done
I haven't had a chance to really do anything in awhile
my HC is sitting there stagnant
I have some new stuff I want to try out
I also hope to get started on some shorties for James using Maggies book as my guide

we just bought a mini herb garden that we are going to plant and observe, but that's about it for spring specific activities :)

We just constructed a pea teepee and planted the peas underneath. It should be TONS of fun once it gets going. We're also currently raising 5 Easter Egger chicks in our dining room in a brooder box. The kids each picked two colors and my mom even got in on the fun, which is why we have 5 instead of 4. :teehee: I'm also trying to contact someone who's offering an incubator on CL. I think the kids would LOVE to hatch a few eggs! We're going to plant a sunflower garden and a cutting garden. AND we're getting a delivery of 25 coturnix quail chicks the first of May. Under the quail hutches, we'll be building vermicompost bins to deal with the waste of the quail. Whew. I'm tired already! :lmao:
