Where did the idea to make a butt plug into an animal toy come from and why are they so dang popular?

I've been wanting to ask that for a few years now.:laugh:

Aaron and I both giggle like 15 year old boys every time we walk down the "dog toy / butt plug isle"

We hadn't heard of them and a few years ago went to Petsmart looking for a toy and were like "wtF?!!"
Then I saw them on Oprah and then all of a sudden saw them recommended everywhere. I just never had the courage to actually ask a bunch of people who loved them the question before, haha!
