DH and I rented this over the weekend. WOW!! We LOVED it. Like, loved it!! It isn't a comedy but DH thought it was so funny. It's a very "non-PC" kind of funny. Has anyone else seen it?

DH wants to see it but it's rare that we're kid-free.

We LOVED this movie!! Some of the slang used made me cringe, but it was great. There were parts that we laughed, and I cried at the end when the kid was driving in the car.
So glad you posted this, I've been meaning to pick it up at the store so we can watch it again.

We liked it too.

I think it is the non-pc parts and the slang that really make this movie what it is.
Yeah, the ending was a tear-jerker. And I just LOVED Su.

I don't really care too much for clint eastwood, but this one was really really good. I highly recommend it, and it is supposed to be his last movie. :(

It was awesome. So awesome that it didn't even matter that no one else in the movie could act their way out of a paper bag! :giggle:

i didn't want to see this movie, but dh made me watch it because he is a car and clint eastwood nut. i thought it was great. after i previewed it, i let ds1 watch it and found a number of teachable moments in the movie that had nothing to do with the pc/nonpc language. i agree with jill to a certain extent about the fact that clint was the strongest actor in the movie, but i also think that the movie offered some interesting points for discussion....
liked it. it wasn't braveheart but i liked it!

I want to see it but the kids stay up with us. It is so hard to find time to watch the non-kid movies.
