Someone.. Anyone... Illustrator Advice..

So I'm a Studio Art minor, and I only have 6 weeks left of my 2D class. We work with Illustrator constantly and my free trial is about to expire. I can purchase it for $200 with my student discount, but I'm only using it for 6 more weeks. Is this something that I'll ever use again? Anyone? Bueller?

The verdict I got is if you don't see yourself using it again don't bother. Unless you want it for personal use you probably won't use it again.
