I'm sitting here smiling, because I actually got the chance to knit this evening - all by myself, on the couch, while watching DVRed episodes of the new 90210 (LOL! :hide: :giggle: ). It was always my routine to knit, whether DH was home in the evening or not, but things were so super-crazy the last couple of months. I seriously had no evenings for my knitting at all for like 2 months!
With the holidays, some family issues (Mom was in the hospital), etc, etc... we were just so busy. And then, I hate to say it, but whenever we got the chance, DH and I would crash on the couch and drink beer and eat junk food. :rofl: We had margaritas a few times, too. This is the first evening in a long time that I've done anything for myself, like my knitting. It felt awesome.
I got the finishing work and duplicate stitch done on a pair of longies, 2 drawstrings done, and a little bit of knitting on some capris. I swear, when I wake up and find those projects sitting there in the morning, I'm going to think that elves came and did it for me - LOL! :laugh:
I figured you all would understand my happiness tonight :D :loveshower:
