So I decided to make a scarf. I'm using size 9 Addi Turbos. The yarn is an acrylic and merino wool blend from www.naturallycaron.com (http://www.naturallycaron.com)

The sides keep rolling under so it's looking uneven but irl it's not. I'm hoping it will eventually flatten out. The Addi needles have made all the difference in the world. Even with my tight knitting I can still slide the yarn up and down the needles easily. I :valentine: them!

The only thing I would do differently is to add a fourth strand of white. The colors need to be softened a little and for some reason the yellow seems to be overpowering the colorway.

I'll update with photos when it is finished. I have the cutest little munchkin who is eager to model it for me.

Oh WOW, that looks like a reeeallly nice colorway! Hey, I ordered some addi straight needles, and they look nothig like that. I was expecting them to be like the addi circ, all nickle plated and shinny. . .but they are dull. Yours look more shinny?

that is really pretty :) i didnt realize different needles could make knitting easier, i hold a lot of tension while i knit but its frustrating because i have to yank the damn yarn off the needle....maybe i need some addi's...

Yep, you use the three together as if they were one, cast on together and knit. I didn't realize you could do it that way either until dh told me. It's really easy.

The reason your scarf is curling is because you're doing a stockingette stitch. It's the nature of the beast.

It looks really beautiful. I love the colours you are using!

I was going to say that too. Stockinette stitch curls on the ends.

Ok ok, hiensight 20/20, I realize- but next time, if you do a fe rows of garter stitches on all sides of a scarf , it won't turn like that. Or you could just do the whole thing i garder stitch.
