No, I am sorry Jodi. I did a lot of ASSuming on the part of my status at CC, and that trade. I don't think I can ever explain it, because its not right, I know that its not right, and I should not have done it. This thread has shown me what I didn't see, all lumped together; how many people I really did hurt. That just because they got their stuff back, didn't make it all better. I did a YFW swap with her back in July and i did receive my newborn set in Nov? Dec? It was late and I rebought the yarn so I could do the set myself but I DID get it. There may be a lot of people to weed through, I'm sure she can get through it! It would make everyone feel better I think! :)

I know this was mentioned previously (and kind of in passing) but I think I want to readdress it again. Amanda, I really do think you may have a shopping problem -- I am even gonna go as far as to call it an addiciton. It actually makes total sense with what was going on in your life leading up to and including the loss of your home and cars. You have every single classic sign of being a shopaholic, in addition, addictions like this are usually coupled with depression. Part of getting help is to realize you have a problem and that you try to remedy it. What tipped the scale for me of wanting to address this again was your post on why you created a second user account on CC.

She was invited to mediation several times, mods and admins emailed and called several times. She would not make contact at all. It was just brought to the attention of DS admin that she was still posting away over here as well as buying stuff still which is why this got brought up over here. Had she participated in mediation on DS this would have been over months ago.


And since we are on the DS subjust....i see Amanda posted DC #'s for 3 of us...There are a few other questions still though

Elf did not want to be reimbursed by the mamas whose items were shipped she never said she would not like to be reimbursed at all though. And I thought we said several pages ago that Amanda SHOULD be reimbursing all the shipping costs.

yay. i agree, amanda is definitely doing her best to resolve them. for shortcakes, it could be that one in a chance that it gets lost. i have had 2 lost packages that i've sent out over the past year or so and have had one (not from amanda) become lost as well, even with DC. it does happen

I believe if you are looking for change from someone then you have to allow them to change... it seems that your negative posts would put me off from saying sorry because it seems you wouldn't believe it even if you got one.
Maybe if you just sit tight and let Amanda come around she will want to say sorry.

Hi, I am the WAHM behind a newish store on HC Sweet Monkey Baby. I have been having pattern lottos and she won one where the requirements were that she had to be a Facebook fan. Well, she entered the drawing 3 days before it ended and then AFTER being selected, she went and finally signed up as a "fan" on my page. Only to leave the group after receiving the pattern. I then blocked her from my page and from my HC. At the time I did not know this was the same Amanda as in this thread. That did not come to my attention until this week, which brings us to the current situation. Nary 2 months later, I put up a new lotto for a pattern. :loveshower: She tried to enter using the blocked account. Three times it told her she could not (I received the copies every time). She then emailed me asking why. Then she tried again to enter and was again blocked. Unfortunately, I was out of town in NYC this weekend and did not see the email until the auction was almost over. Guess who won! She DID!!! :shakehead:???? I was very confused and upset and I started digging. I had assumed she had created a new account to bypass my block, but it is hard to say how long it has been open. She has multiple (at least the 2 she used to win my lottos - a 1/10,000+ chance, BTW - maybe others) accounts on HC and has entered SEVERAL FFS lottos 2+ times. This is just of the ones CURRENTLY running. I emailed Karen and it is the same IP address, but one is "her husband's" and one is hers - despite nothe of the names being hers - "amanda" and "amanda_s" . She may have others; Karen did not say. I feel this is completely wrong. I do not feel like I should "owe" her anything, especially given her disrespect to me and my other customers, whom I feel she is truly cheating. She (not her DH) emailed me 2 nights ago asking where her pattern was and when it would be coming. She emailed again this morning. :speechless:

So, that is the tale. She did to do anything overt it is just a continuance of the same shady behavior (IMO) and I was trying to understand if the other things had been dealt with. My initial plan was to lift her block after she had made good on everything here (that is when I posted the question), but now that I know about the multiple accounts, I don't think I will. :sigh:

Sorry to hash up the crazy but it seems to be continuing along the pattern of her behavior. I was truly just trying to protect my store and see how things had been settled. I try to stay out of the drama. . . :err:

I don't know. I think on HC it is a bit shady. IRL in a raffle and both people are present then it seems to be a different thing than signing your husband up for something using YOUR email address and doing all of the correspondence on the matter. Honestly, I doubt he knew he entered at all. I somehow think if I had asked her DH 3 days ago before she won, if he knew he had entered he would have said "no."

That means she entered, not her DH and she is correct in that I did not explain to her why I had blocked her. I should have done so I jsut did not foresee a reason at the time. However, now I also KNOW that she is the one who is using the second account. Moreover, SHE is entered in other lottos currently under both names. That is wrong as NEITHER of the accounts are blocked in the other drawings, she is entered twice (that I know of). :twitch:

I know several people that have more than one HC...my friend IRL does, and she frequently enters lottos as both herself & her "husband". I never thought of it to be a problem? I mean if you enter in a raffle in person and your husband is with you and he enters too, it's the same thing...right? :shrug:

I think HC is a little different. I do find it shady as her DH probably wants nothing to do with the pattern. Especially if the wife was told she couldn't enter.

I would report her and not send the pattern. She was told multiple times, with good reason, not to enter.

Personally I don' think it matters if she used more than one account. the WAHM is entirely within her right to block her once she realized Amanda was completely just looking for a freebie and took herself off the facebook fan page. that's pretty crappy and IMO she has every right to block her from future raffles if its allowed on HC to do so.

If it were the only thing she had ever done - ever - probably not shady. That could probably be debated back and forth for a while.

But in this situation, it's just the latest of a long list of things. It's just more evidence of shadiness, KWIM? I don't think Sweet Monkey Baby would have brought it up if not for everything else she has done, the stuff listed here AND the fact that Amanda was not following the rules of Sweet Monkey Baby's first lottery. THAT'S what makes it shady.

The original listing description said- "3 large white nursing camis; target or Wal-Mart brand. one of them, the center strip of fabric (inside the bra part) was cut out"

I received
1 large- w/ the strip cut out and full of stains
1- XL full of stains and
1- without any tags at all and several small stains.

Had the listing said they were all full of stains I NEVER would have purchased them.

Her "husband" entering is NOT a new thing. I had a FFS drawing waaaay back when I was at PrincessFluffyButt and she won. Under her husbands name. This was at least a year ago, maybe more.
