Does anyone have a mixture for cleaning tooth brushes?

I really hate becteria and I cant help but feeling tht my and DS's tooth brushes are covered in them and I would love to clean them in between buying new ones.. does anyone know a good mixture for this?

Yep, I put a capful of Listerine, a couple cap fulls of peroxide, then enough water to cover the bristles in a cup, then let them soak for 5-10 min.

hey, that's the same thing I do! :) Only, no water.

Oh and I scrub some baking soda into the bristles first before soaking it in listerine/peroxide

I just use peroxcide. put the toothbrushes face down and pour it in the glass to cover the bristles.

That is what we do here as well.

I use listerine and rinse rinse rinse
then I put a microwave safe glass or mug w/ lemon juice and get it very very hot and soak them in that over night

Can't you just put them in the dishwasher?

I buy the dollar store ones you can get 6 packs of nice ones for a buck
