Let me begin with the word of the day, but first, a little background. It seems that Talk Poop has become your one stop shop for celebrity gossip, trashy stories and the latest in urban slang. We aim to please. To that end, here it today's word for the day: "children" or "the children." "Children" is slang for gay people or the gay community. It's not derogatory at all. It's used kind of like a southerner would use the word Y'all. Just kind of a catch all phrase. Here's an example:
During a concert Patti LaBelle (or Cher or Madonna) might say "this next song is for the children!" :screams from the crowd:

You know I was a New Kids fan back in the day and this story is no big shock. I mean Jordan always was a little zesty. Who cares though. Gay is the new black!

It seems he's the mystery man who helped Fantasia Burrino out of her foreclosure jam. That whole thing was strange to me. I mean here is Fantasia Burrino with the big fancy million dollar house in North Carolina. That house is not her only house, yet the big house is up for foreclosure. What's strange to me is that it's not on the block due to missed mortgage payments. It was being sold due to some kind of lein. And the lein was only $65K.
Several notices had been sent to Fantasia, but she or her representatives never responded. Not that I know anything about her personal business. I can assure you that I don't. But that, to me sounds like 1 of 2 things. Either she's not being managed well and/or she's got some major illiquidity right now (or both). Simon gave her a loan to mix the problem in the short term. Let's just hope that she gets herself straightened out. Because making money is one thing. Managing it is quite another!

I'd never heard of this woman, but the story sure is interesting!
It seems that an atlanta radio dj is about to be charged with arson for burning down her own home. What's more, the fire also damanged her neighbor's home and injured her mother! Messy, messy, messy!!! The neighbor is also being charged and the mother is screaming to high heaven that her daughter did it! Yikes, she must have missed mom's birthday or something!!!!
A just because that story isn't crazy enough, this is the 2nd home that she's had catch fire. WTH!?
I mean, who does she think she is, the OJ or the arson world? She got away with it once, but that wasn't enough for her. She's just going to keep commiting crimes until she's locked up for good!? A MESS!!

We at the Poop love the music of Erika Badu. But her personal life - wellllll. We reported earlier this week that Ms. Badu gave birth at home to her second child. And while that might not seem crazy to some, that's super crazy to me (unless they're willing to bring the epidural to the house!). Anyway, now we learn of the new baby's name. This is where the real craziness begins. Erika's daughter's name is Mars Merkaba. File that one uner WTF!
If I remeber correctly, her other children have strange names too. At this moment I can't recall what they are though.
Wait - I found them. She has a son named Seven and a daughter named Puma. WTH Erika!

I tell you - some men will just never learn! Do you guys know actress Lisa-Raye? We'll i'm going to try and make this long story short. Lisa Raye is a beatuiful (if ghetto) black actress. She was a single mom working away in Los Angeles and making plenty of money. Along comes this Carribean prince from the Island of Turks and Cacos and sweeps her off her feet.
She was "dating" a married NBA player when the prine came along so there was a lot of chatter in the gossip world about which guy she would choose. The wags all over were reporting that the price was a serial fiance. Meaning that he'd been engaged to LOADS of rich/famous women, but that he was no fan of marriage.
So EVERYBODY was watching to see if they would get married. They did. In a HUGE lavish ceremony on the island of Turks and Cacos. Well cut to a few months later reports out of T&C were coming back that the people of the island HATED Lisa-Raye because she is American black and not carribean. Then comes reports that her DH is still sleeping around. A LOT apparently.
Just a few months ago it all blew up with they had a fight in the palace and he beat her BADLY! She was air lifted to the hospital and everything!
Back in LA, Lisa-Raye files for divorce and now ex-DH is being investigated. Guess who's testifying against him...
