Ryann just heard an ambulance and she said NO GO!!! Scared, no go, please (or as she says mease). Oh my poor baby! Everytime she hears an ambulance she thinks they are coming to get her since they came when she had that first seizure like episode!

Poor baby. My mom is a foster parent to a couple boys, the youngest is 8 yrs old. His mom is a crack head and he remembers the lights from the cop car coming to get him and take him away. So when we went to the St Pattys Day Parade yesterday when he saw the lights he would hide behind my mom and say "No I dont want to go"
Its so sad.

Could you maybe take her down to the fire station or something so she could see an ambulance and maybe that would help her fear? :confused:

Mine went through that too. He is still skittish around personnel in scrubs. We've taken to requesting only nurses and lab people wearing the scrubs so he can tell the difference between the safe people aND The "owie" people.
