My go-to meal is not that impressive, nor is it really a recipe...I make lasagna.
I DO NOT use meat.
I use homemade marinara when I have it (I jar it in the summer) if not,I use out of a jar.
I layer cooked noodles, then a mixture if cottage and ricotta cheese, then sauce, then a mixture of mozzarella (fresh if possible) parmesan (again, fresh) and provolone. Then repeat. Bake for about 45 min to an hour. Let set before serving.
I serve it with garlic/cheese biscuits (from the "top-secret" recipe book to be like Red Lobster) an a salad.
