Lost Finale!!

Okay, so basically there are two guys, Jacob and that other guy, who seem to have been on the island for a long time and they both want to "run" the island a different way and they can't kill each other. And the other guy can take on the appearance of dead people, so do you think he's the one who has been appearing as Christian? and then as Alex down in the cave when she threatened Ben? That would make sense if he was trying to take down Jacob this whole time.

There was so much in last nights episode I could hardly sleep because my mind wouldn't stop!

Yep I do think so, someone is Locke, and it's not Locke. I wonder what the loop hole is that he found?

I hate that Juilette went down the hole, I don't think the bomb thing is going to make everything the way it's supposed to be, that would be a short final season.

This is just a wild guess, but I think that "the leader" of the others is the only person that can kill Jacob. So, since Locke wasn't actually alive, then Ben technically was still the leader, and this guy pretending to be Locke was able to trick Ben into killing Jacob, first by appearing as Alex and telling him to listen to Locke and then by making him feel like Jacob mistreated him. I think that's the loophole.

I think the loophole was that Ben was the one to actually kill him since whoever this guy with apparently couldn't for some reason.

I had tears in my eyes when Sawyer was holding Juliette's hand down the whole. It was heart wrenching! He's an amazing actor!

oh, and I don't think Jacob's going to be dead for long, I agree that the H-bomb won't have the effect Jack was hoping for, but I do think it will have a huge effect.

I agree!!!

It was quite an episode, a lot to wrap my feeble mind around! DH feel asleep an hour in so I get to watch the last hour again, lol!

I'm thinking I would like to watch all the other seasons again before the final one airs, just to refresh myself!

DH & I said we're going to do the same thing! It's interesting to go back and see what you can pick up now that we have some answers.

I've been hailed to this thread!

I'm sad Juliet had to die, but what a way to go! I kinda wish it had been Kate to go down the hole, but no way would it have been as emotional and meaningful if she'd done it.

I am even more sad that it appears that Locke is really dead after all. he's one of my favorite characters. I should have guessed that it was Smokey using his body all along, since people always appear "off" when they "come back from the dead." But I was really liking the new Locke and now it sucks that it wasn't him after all.

I am excited to see what the final season has in store. I hope they axe Carlton Cruse, the new writer they got for Season 4...this has been my least favorite season so far and it's all his fault.

I didn't like this season either. I think the finale was the best episode of this season which isnt saying much.
I actually felt quite bad for Ben but I think it was a set up from the beginning to get Ben to eventually kill Jacob.
