Where do you DL your tunes? My brother told me to use limewire and get it for free. But I've heard there's a lot of spam there?

Frostwire. Don't pay for it, though. If you just google it, it'll prompt you to pay, but if you go down a few links, you can find the free version.

load the cd into itunes using rip feature, then make a playlist!

If you like jam bandy type stuff this will be heaven for you. There is a little bit of everything though- live music. It's great!

You'll need some shareware to get started. I use Azureus Vuze- it's free too.

I'm strictly an iTunes/purchased CD person.

I think downloading stuff that you would normally pay for (in a record store, on iTunes) is illegal.

archive.org is not illegal whatsoever that's why i love it! now you aren't going to find most mainstream music there, but there's some great live music to be tasted there!

no! the music on the cd belongs to you already! you just up load your cds into your music library and they are there for you to use!
