SO...since some members didn't like yesterday's game being ALL over the board, why not make an opt-in forum JUST for the games!! And all games MUST stay in there!

Great, wonderful, cool, awesome idea!! There are a lot of forums on here as is. I would not be surprised if they don't want to add another forum just for games. Maybe they could have a sub forum in the get to know me area?

That was not at all fun. Irritated me to no end.

Anyway, what happends if it doesnt' stay in that area?

Though that is a good question!! Maybe just make it very clear that games stay in the game forum only!! I know a few people were annoyed with it...so I just figured this was a good compromise for those who loved them and those who hated them.

I just didn't read them & ignored their posts. Were people really able to read that mess? Wouldn't they feel dumb if nobody was responding to them? Like they were talking to themselves? Hello, anyone there?!

We did this on a board I used to admin at. In my experience, once the games board was opened, it stopped that crap from getting all over the other threads. If a game/random thread (people would start random chat threads that didn't really have a topic, just chit chat, or where you could verbally barf whatever was on your mind) opened out of place, it was moved without notice.

I would assume that most people are smart enough to keep the game threads in the game area, and not to take the game stuff out of the game forum.
