Quite Proud!
One of the classes I am taking this semester is a Culture and Politics class. The material isn't that difficult, lots of reading, but so what. However, my professor is extremely demanding. Everyone else in the class has tons of experience with travel and other cultures...I have just about none, so I felt out of it right off the bat. It is an 8 week course, and on week 3, I seriously was considering dropping it (beginning of week 4 was the last drop time before getting an F), I was in tears and thought there was no way I could finish this class. I've since figured out more of what the professor wants and I'm doing rather well.
Our assignment for last week (week 6) was a narrated powerpoint presentation. No big deal, I'm certified in Microsoft Word, I know my way around it. I finished my presentation and submitted it last night, and I was pretty proud of it. Today, my professor puts up an announcement saying that as a class, we sucked big time on this assignment, he is giving us until Thursday to start from scratch and re-do our entire presentation. Now I worked really hard on this, and I wanted to cry when I heard that. I had no idea where I could improve. Two hours later he reposted saying that out of the entire class (15 students), there was one presentation that was done properly and met or exceeded all requirements, and he posted it as an example for all to follow. It is MINE! I'm so proud of this, I was going to drop this class, but now it looks like I might be able to pull an A!
